When Wal-Mart stood up to the far-right Christians last year, I made it a point to go out of my way to shop at the McCain Blvd. Supercenter here in North Little Rock. I bought all my motor oil, air filters, oil filters, and other mechanic stuff there in the automotive section. I also would surf the aisles for other not-so-necessary goodies that might jump out at me.

While I won't condemn Wal-Mart for blinking in the face of what was probably withering right-wing criticism, I will no longer go out of my way to shop at the constantly overcrowded McCain Blvd. Supercenter. Target happens to be on this side of the freeway, and closer to my house.
